Product story
Product story
The shape of our Cabaça Vase is inspired by the Cabaça, which is a dried gourd that is turned into a reservatory for liquid. The vase is decorated with a pattern that is inspired by the wrought iron often found on Portuguese balconies. The natural color and texture of the terra cotta clay is enhanced by a glossy glaze, giving it a luxury touch.

Please note, due to the nature of the terracotta clay, we cannot guarantee the vase will be 100% waterproof. Therefore we recommend placing the vase on a coaster before placing on a table, shelf or any other porous surface.
Our vases have wool-felt pads on the bottom to prevent scratching on the surface.
Recommended to clean with a damp cloth.
Refined pottery from Barcelos
The region of Barcelos, in the North of Portugal, is known for its deep relationship with artisanal potteries. The terracotta clay is obtained locally and is shaped into traditional ceramics by hand on the potter’s wheels. Finally, each piece is painted by hand with pigments. We celebrate every step of the process, and each detail makes your pieces unique.
