This Canastra Azul basket is hand-woven from acacia wood from Portugal and has a subtle blue hue that is created with 100% organic indigo dye. The basket was traditionally used by fish sellers, also known as varinas, in regions of Portugal. Nowadays, our Canastra Basket serves the purpose that you give it.
